10th February was a unique Sunday for Kingdom Life Centre (KLC), as it marked the celebration of 16 years since the church community was born in 2003. Like the parable of the workers in the vineyard, every stage of the 16-year walk was redefined as being the portion of every single saint regardless of when they joined the journey.

The dominant emphasis during the Sunday service was journeying and representation. Our worship was characterized by joy and celebration as the saints expressed their thanksgiving to God for His faithfulness over the 16 years since KLC was birthed. A sense of availability and a continued commitment to accomplish the purposes of God and further embrace a journey mentality was evident.
Pastor Luke Wanjohi and his wife Prof. Waceke Wanjohi of Grace Community had been invited to join the community in celebrating the 16th anniversary. They were glad to see the far that the community has come and the progress made. They pointed out that KLC has become a pattern and a resource to many out of the growth, obedience and oneness that has been realised.

The message of Representation and standing in the gap found in Ezekiel 22:30 was highlighted as the most significant thing that God has ever spoken to us in the course of our journey. Our faithfulness over the 16 years of our journey is not only for our own benefit, but it also provides a pathway for others to find life.
As we look forward to the next phase of our movement, KLC is ready to arise, shine and go deeper into the God’s ultimate mandate for us.
